Random Summer Pics

Thanks to my friend Alexis, the boys got a new and freshly painted room. She is so artistic. Not that Jason isn't, but she and I spend our days in the summer thinking of things to do while he and her husband are at work. Hey, they could've been teachers too. Anyhow, we love, love, love how it all turned out. Surf's up!

Peggy, our guinea pig is the newest addition to our family. We inherited her from some friends. Yeah us! ;) She is really nice and gentle with the kids. We think she's ready for a backpack to try out for G-Force II. Thoughts?


10 year anniversary! We look so silly. I can't believe it's been this long. Actually it's been about 8 years longer than that. A lot of work and a lot of love is keeping us together! ;)

Camping at Mohican

Oh the joys of camping.... I forgot how camping really was. Sit around, fish, drink, eat, sit around by the fire, drink, eat, canoe...That about sums it up. We actually have a great time. Uncle Russ and Aunt Mary T, Leslie, Chris and Hunter, and our entire family got togehter for a weekend in Mohican. It was quite fun rafting down the river for HOURS! and playing in the river. I just liked seeing our family and getting some time to catch up. We stayed in a cabin in case you were wondering. I don't know if I could tent for the weekend. Although I must confess: I showered Friday before I left and on Sunday upon my return. I know, I'm gross. But in the spirit of camping I was all in or go home.

Lisa and Jake's Wedding

Our dear friends Lisa and Jake got married this summer. We were very excited to be apart of their special day. The wedding was beautiful as was the reception. We all had a great time filled with lots of fun memories. I love Brian's big cheese in the picture. He never gets crazy...BTW- he even danced that night. We all did! I especially liked what Erica had to say about her sister. Erica just loves her no matter what. I think she even cried. WHAT???? Erica cry? she did! Memories!

Outer Banks- Duck Vacation

Jason's family, the kids and I all headed to the Outer Banks for a week in July. We had a really great time. It was very nice to spend most of it with Jason's cousin Vic and his girlfriend Callie. They are from Pittsburgh and we don't get to see them very often.

The beach was nice but the water was a bit cold at first. There was a big storm just before we got in there so we had to be patient for the water to warm up. The weather overall was crazy hot! It was a nice time and we all relaxed on the beach and enjoyed the time together.

The Beads place was Ginny and my favorite place to go. Had we more money we would have spent it all there. Even the boys enjoyed making their own bracelet and necklace....for boys of course! Ahh, where to next time. Oh the decisions.

Aiden T-Ball

We had a successfl season as far as T-ball goes. We are all winners! ;) Aiden made some nice friends. He also learned that he can pitch pretty well. Both boys are looking forward to Fall Ball and next season since they will be on the same team.
