Aiden's First Grade Christmas Program

Elfis and the Sleigh Riders....Aiden was a wonderful member of the choir. His friends had some really great parts. It was an enjoyable program teaching the lessons of forgiveness, friendship and love. Way to go Aiden.

Randoms!

Jason and I went to a wedding and of course we didn't get ANY pictures of us until the end of the night. Great dress, good company...good times.
Aiden lost his first tooth. FINALLY! he earned a whopping 5 bucks! from the tooth fairy.
Jason got his tattoo that he has been waiting for. A Christmas gift of course. Sharks to represent his inner animal side....:)

Aiden turns 7!!!

Aiden turned 7 years old this year. He is getting so big and getting quite the mind of his own. He is extremely creative, funny, and you never know what he's going to say. Always thinking about his next move or action. Aiden was able to have friends at the house for a sleepover. It was a great time! Followed by family for the usual party. Aiden finally got his penguin pillow pet, bakugans, and a motorized scooter.

Capt. Keith Carpenter

This is Capt. Keith Carpenter. Otherwise known as Diana's husband or Mickey and Evan's dad or to my kids...Coach Keith. Keith has left for a one year tour of duty in Iraq. Sadly, he was deployed on his daughter's birthday. :( In these pictures, Keith graciously came to my class/school and talked with the students about what he does in the Army. My class will essentially adopt him while he's gone. We will send care packages, write letters, and emails to boost his spirits and let him know we care and await a safe return.
Although we are very sad he is leaving, the sadddest of all was his wife, Diana's facebook post the morning he left..... He was gone in a flash....while we slept. He says it's easier on him that way.
Not a dry eye in my house that morning. Words are so powerful! Through the tears and heartache and crazy days we need to remember he is helping our country and without him and people like him who knows where we would be. He will be missed and this year will be a long one. BUT....we await a safe return and help out whenever we can.

Halloween 2010

Jamie, Ginny and Jason at Cuyahoga Falls Halloween passing out candy!

I forgot I was a ventriloquist for my sister's party!

Well, Jamie and Karri had their annual Halloween Kid Party with a whopping 50something kids. All the kids had a really great time, as did the parents. As you can see Aiden...the sad one because a another boy thought he was a girl...was a Bakugan Brawler. Parker, too, was a Bakugan Brawler. Check out Skyler's costume. She was a viking girl and her dad...yes! Jamie, made that thing from scratch. He is SOOOO talented. He's turned into a regular Susie home-maker and Betty Crocker! Logan was Freddie Cruger this time, but his original costume was Billy the Exterminator...and yes...Jamie made that too. Here in Youngstown we just buy costumes! :)

Jamie's house! Canyou see the face. Amazing. We think they have too much time on their hands. HEHE!
As for the Younstown Trick or Treating, all the kids had a blast. Aiden decided to be Justin Bieber at the last minute, Parker/ Bakugan, Logan/Billy, Skyler/ Viking, Mickey/whatever was in the box at home...he hates Halloween and is terribly afraid, Evan/ none other than Bubba Fett. Good times as always!

CAVO

Stacy and I had a chance to go see Cavo, one of our favorite bands. They used to open for Daughtry, but are now out on their own making a name for themselves. They played at Club Gossip on Tuesday evening with 4 other bands. It was a lot of fun and great to see them so close in our hometown AND within walking distance from our houses. If you ever want to listen to some great rock music, Cavo is a sure fix. One of their songs is featured in the movie Transformers. Way cool!
Did I mention that we were front row by the bar and we could literally see the sweat on their brow? It was awesome!
I think I look cheesy in the last picture with my crazy eyes. I was just pumped!

Team Red Fall Ball

As the fall leaves begin to change their colors, the Webb boys begin their adventure into fall baseball. Both are on team red this year and our learning quite a bit. New bats and a hard ball really makes a difference. It will be interesting to see how the spring plays out this year with a step up in age group and the boys on the same team. Now, I'm loving it because I only have one place to travel. GO TEAM RED!!!!!
