Dad's Retirement

My dad retired a couple months back. He is in his glory and enjoying every minute. Robin, Lee, and I decided we should celebrate his 35 years of service for AT&T. Along with all of his brothers, his mother and a few friends...we had a nice time at Scachetti's. Way to go Dad!

Aiden and I had Mother's Day luncheon at preschool today. It was very nice. The children made a recipe book and the food from that was what they served. Hot dogs, tacos, chocolate chip cookies and apple pie. Nice! We made crafts and had a wonderful time. Aiden's teachers are so thoughtful. Enjoy and Happy Mother's Day to all.

Mommy and Me at the Farm

Parker and I had a chance to go to the Experimental Farm today with his Kindergarten class. What a nice day it turned out to be. We got to make ice cream, take a tour of the farm, and paint a lovely potted plant. We decided that Papa needs more chickens and baby goats on the farm. Notice the duck as the potato. Also, notice that Parker seemed to have more fun with his friends than with mom...par for the course.
