Halloween

Between the school dress-up day, Brianna's Halloween birthday party, and trick or treat, Parker and Aiden had a wonderful Halloween. As you can see even Jason and I dressed up a bit this year.
Aiden and Parker of course got lots of candy, but it was Aiden who was a force to be reckoned with. He bolted from house to house in search of CANDY! Parker and Mickey fizzled out just a block after Even quit. These boys!
Parker, however, carved his very first pumpkin this year at NiNi's house. He was very proud of himself. Thank goodness for NiNi's patience because i would have grabbed the knife and finished in record time.
...on to the next holiday....

Aimee's Wedding

Aimee, our friend, got married just a couple of weeks ago. She was a beautiful bride! What a wonderful time to catch up with old friends and remember the good 'ol days.

The "Webbs" / Party

The kids had a birthday party over the weekend and they had a facepainter there. She was awesome...as you can tell. Of course this is the true meaning of "webb brothers". the boys had a wonderful time...apparently I did too. Wonder if I could wear this to school on Monday? :) What a great idea to do at a party. All the kids thought it was awesome and it just made for better make believe play!

Aiden's 1st day of Kindergarten

Aiden LOVES school. Of course we already knew he would. He likes riding the bus, and going to class, and eating lunch...we he can buy....and playing at recess. When he comes home he even likes to play school. He's a man after my own heart. I only hope this year his teacher encourages him to use both hands for writing. He can do this already with ease and we would like to maintain it at school. Did I forget to tell you that he's our money-maker? ;) Ambidextrous!

Parker's 1st day of first grade

Parker is in first grade. You might notice that these are 2 separate days. Funny story... on the actual first of day school the buses were all mixed up. So when they finally saw a bus coming down the street...late...the boys were excited. BUT the bus drove on past and the driver waved. Thankfully Papa was there just in case and he had to drive Parker to school. Parker was not mad, but he was the last kid in school on that day. The next morning went off without a hitch. He is enjoying school this year in spite of all the homework. Yeah!!!

Puppy

My mom and dad got a new puppy!!!! Yeah! She is so cute and cuddly. Like a big panda bear. Her name is Oreo and the kids just LOVE her. She is a Great Polly, Pyrenes, Collie mix. Yes, she's gonna be big!!!! We are actually babysitting this week, so I'll post newer pictures of her getting in trouble. ;)

Firestone Park

We had a family reunion at Firestone Park. The reunion was with my mom's side of the family. The Bobovnyiks. The weather was cold, but the kids had a good time. They found a great play area they really enjoyed. It was nice to see all the relatives we normally don't get a chance to see. :)

Carnegie Museum

Sorry that some of the pics are blurry, but I had a hard time finding ones with the boys. We spent the day at Pittsburgh Carnegie Museum of History. The boys were astounded by the dinosaurs. To think they "actually" lived. The size of them too was simply amazing.

Swimming at Aunt Robin and Uncle B's

The end of August has proven to be quite the scorcher. We all got together the other day for some fun in the sun. Meeting at Robin and Brian' s, we all had a great time swimming, cooking out, throwing water balloons, and just relaxing trying to keep cool. Lee and Jason definitely thought they were younger than they really are. And even though he is smaller than most Lee almost broke Jason's back. Aiden is becoming braver and braver with those floaties and Parker is a fish. Afraid of nothing in the water, he scares the crap out of us. Thanks Robin and Brian for letting us use your pool and allowing us to hang out all day.

Cake decorating

On a rainy day the kids and I decided to bake cakes. Obviously, we watch too much Cake Boss and Ace of Cakes. Parker made a Pokemon while Aiden made a Bakugan cake. Very messy, but a lot of fun. We even put dye in the batter so they could a blue and green cake. What a delicious way to spend the day.
